A very interesting Review article by Professor Emeritus of Biology–Molecular Genetics at the Medical School of the University of Patras, Dr. Aglaia Athanasiadou, member of HSGTRM, and her team, has been accepted for publication in the prestigious journal Human Gene Therapy. The article focuses on β-hemoglobinopathies as a model for the development of non-viral, episomal vectors for gene therapy.
