The General Secretary of HSGTRM Professor Helen Papadaki was elected Dean of the University of Crete

Mrs. Helen Papadaki, General Secretary of HSGTRM, Professor of Haematology, and Director of the Haematology Clinic of the University General Hospital of Heraklion will be the new Dean of the School of Medicine of the University of Crete. It should be noted that this is the first time that a woman dean has been elected to the Faculty of Medicine.

About her election, she posted on social networks: “With dreams and vision, continuing the path of great people who led the School of Medicine of the University of Crete, I will soon start my term as Dean of our School. Together with Deputy Dean Giorgos Hamilos, our Colleagues, Staff and Students we will work for Education, Research and Health with all our strength. I thank all my colleagues for their support in the election!”. Mrs. Helen Papadaki’s term will start next September.
